Leggera is a simple chair, with an educated, clear, cultured shape, strong in its past as a design icon. The Leggera chair marks the beginning in 1952 of a process that encompasses the entire design and executive path of collaboration between Gio Ponti, Cesare Cassina and his artisans in a unique way. La Leggera has almost circular section uprights and, due to its extreme resistance and simplicity that expresses all the nobility of the anonymous object, it is a chair that has had a very high commercial and distribution diffusion over the years.
