Designed in the 1970s by Bruno Munari for Robots, an experimental project co-founded with Bruno Danese, the Vademecum trolley is a rare example of functional, lightweight and intelligent design.
Made with a black-painted steel wire structure and three perforated aluminium shelves, it was originally conceived as a mobile solution for work or study spaces. Today, it also works perfectly as a bar cart, a small rolling bookshelf, or a flexible side unit.
The name Vademecum suggests the idea of a practical, always-useful object. The piece fully reflects Munari's philosophy: essential form, playful use, democratic design.
